Manor Park was
developed between 1988 and 1995 and is now recognised as one
of the best private estates in the Plymouth area and is much
sought after, with houses of excellent size and quality,
making ideal family homes. Houses do not stay on the market
for long and a record of one day was achieved in March 2004
for the sale of one of the properties (not even enough time
for the sale board to go up)
As part of this
development all proprietors automatically become shareholders
in Leigham Manor Management (Plymouth) Ltd., the management
company, run by its members for the benefit of its members,
having responsibility for the 5 acres of amenity land and
roadways within the development.
To protect all the
residents, a deed of covenant is entered into with the
management company giving certain rights and obligations on
both parts. Prospective buyers can obtain full details
through their solicitors contacting the management
company.
All the woodland
surrounding Manor Park is either owned by Leigham Manor
Management, The National Trust or The Woodland Trust and is
therefore protected.
No more properties
will be built within Manor Park as the residents have vetoed
any further development and the Management Company's directors
have pledged to uphold this veto.
